Our goal at SWCC is to see everyone involved in sports that encourage them to develop, learn and socialize. Regardless of financial circumstances and conditions, we seek to be open and affordable to all in order to encourage each individual to optimize their potential.
Why it's important to have a good coach
The skills learnt through sports are lifelong skills such as problem solving, teamwork skills, management skills, motivational skills and communication skills. Coaches not only set the tone for a kids growth but also directly influence their attitudes and behaviour towards other individuals and situations. Here at SWCC, we aim to set the right standards from the get go in order to build a respectful and valuing mindset. We believe that coaching is not only about cricket skills but also life skills therefore setting the right example is important to ensure kids get on the right path.
How it started
We realised that not all parents can afford high end coaching resulting in kid’s talent going to waste. This happened to our Head Coach personally as their family being the first generation in Australia and couldn’t afford high end coaching. This lead to limited guidence and progress. Our headcoach is self taught therefore understands how all individuals can program themselves to achieve success. After realising this, he decided that this problem should not be faced again thus opening Sydney West Cricket Coaching. We aim to be very afforadable and inclusive to everyone who shares a passion for the sport.
